ACIS opened in August 2019 on the Chiang Mai to Lampang Superhighway in Saraphi, as part of the Ambassador Education Group, next door to its sister schools UCIS and Ambassador Bilingual School.
It follows an American Common Core curriculum with Advanced Placement courses, STEM and robotics, and daily Chinese lessons, with Thai and Italian also taught. It has around 550 students and is WASC accredited. Its first Grade 12 class is due to graduate in 2027.
ACIS suits families who want an American programme with serious Mandarin. Fees include a 20,000 THB annual capital fee, and there is an entrance fee on joining.
