UCIS opened in 2017 on the Chiang Mai to Lampang Superhighway in Saraphi. It was started by the family behind Little Stars kindergarten and Ambassador Bilingual School, and is the flagship of the Ambassador Education Group, alongside ACIS and BCIS.
It follows an American curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 12, with Advanced Placement courses, a house system and a Falcons sports programme. It is WASC accredited.
UCIS is one of the more affordable American schools in the city, and suits families living on the east and south side. Joining costs include an entrance fee and a one-off book fee.
